Totgesagte leben länger - ein viel zitierter Satz, der aber immer wieder seine Daseinsberechtigung findet. Auch am morgigen Mittwoch, den 21. März 2007, erleben wir zwei Auferstehungen. Mit Paul „ReDeYe“ Chaloner betritt ein Mann erneut die Bühne des eSport, der über Jahre hinweg als einer der besten Shoutcaster überhaupt galt. Angetrieben von seiner jahrelangen Erfahrung und dem Wunsch in den eSport zurückzukehren verkündete er letzte Woche die Gründung von quadV, einer neuen Coverage-Station. Diese Woche nun, bekommt die ganze Sache Schwung, denn schon wie damals bei RadioiTG wird man regelmäßige Shows abhalten. Nach knapp acht Monaten Abstinenz machen morgen die „1337-Wednesdays“ den Anfang. Hierbei handelt es sich um eine Show rund um Unreal Tournament und Unreal Engine basierte Spiele. In einem Trio mit Ben „RubberChicken“ Hulme und Steve „ShedBoy“ Wilson wird die knapp 1½-stündige Show im wöchentlichen Turnus Einzug ins Programm von quadV halten. Dabei wird es sowohl Mod-, Map- und Moviereviews als auch Neuigkeiten zu diversen Ligen und obendrein noch Gewinnspiele geben. Myself and RubberChicken wanted to get it back onair for series 2 far sooner, but circumstances dictated we couldntI am glad to say however, that all of the obstacles that were in our way before are now resolved and with the advent of the new station, we are able to work together again and get the show back onair all be it, with a new home. We have lots of the same features people loved from the first series and a few interesting new items as well as a new co-presenter "ShedBoy" who I think people will grow to love over the next few weeks. We do have a lot planned for the show too and it is likley that we will go to video for a special show in the next month or so, just to try it out and see whether it works or not. For now though, we are back for the next 6 to 8 weeks with some brand new shows all about the unreal universe of games with all the usual fun and games as well as a brand new competition for you guys from SteelSeries, where you can win some nice gear.[/paddingl]
