Victory in Cologne
mTw.AMD CS:S wins EPS
It is done! After five seasons of Counter-Strike:Source in Germany's highest gaming league, the ESL Pro Series, mTw.AMD won the finals for the first time. Last year we managed to come to the offline finals in Cologne but ended up with a bad fourth place overall. This time the players around their manager mTw.AMD|botman won the finals beating bomk with a clear 2-0 and in the final the former champions of ALTERNATE aTTaX, also with a straight 2-0. This is the first time in the history of the ESL Pro Series that mTw.AMD won the finals since the legendary FIFA team back in the days.
The game versus Team ALTERNATE started at 12:00 CET with de_dust2 as a first map. The new Most Valuable Player of the season, our very own Andre "mTw.AMD|nooky" Utesch showed once again that he belongs to the best. Without him this victory would not have happened as he was again the player who won the deciding round on the second map de_nuke where he defused the bomb while players of aTTaX were still alive.
Next to the Source-Team mTw.AMD|EricM found his way to the finals in WarCraft III. He was not able to beat the former champion XlorD in the first round and also HasuObs was too strong for him. Eric placed fourth pocketing 1000€.
