Hoskins aus Paris gemeldet. Er wollte euch gerne einen kleinen Blog zukommen lassen. Wir wünschen euch viel Spaß und hier noch ein kleiner Hinweis: er ist auf Englisch!
Der Electronic Sports World Cup 2011 ist derzeit in Paris schon im vollen Gange, doch unsere Spieler haben bisher noch eine Schonfrist. Derzeit kämpfen die CounterStrike 1.6 Teams und die StarCraft 2 Spieler um das Preisgeld und natürlich auch um den wichtigen Erfolg. Montag werden dann unsere CounterStrike:Source Spieler in das Geschehen eingreifen und sich ihren Kontrahenten stellen müssen. Wir werden euch am morgigen Tag alle wichtigen Informationen liefern können, doch zunächst meldet sich einer unser Spieler zu Wort. George 'HudzG' Hoskins hat sich die Mühe für euch gemacht und einen kleinen Blog verfasst, welcher die Geschehnisse am Wochenende beschreibt und euch erläutert. Schaut rein und genießt! Hmmmm where to start........... This morning I woke up ready and pumped to
travel to ESWC, unfortunately for me I then realised that i had to fly and then
I wasn't so pumped anymore. As anyone who knows me I fucking hate flying more
than I hate losing, I cant think of anything worse however it comes with the
job, and I absolutely love professional gaming. So as everyone knows we will
compete on monday in the ESWC, something I have watched from the very beggining
back when SK had heaton, and now im finally competing in the tournament and I cant wait, whatever the
result im completely pumped and ready to go, I hope this will be a chance for
us to once again prove we can compete on the world stage and continue on the
path we started all the way back at
dsrack. We recently brought back olli
into the team and he has really settled in great aswell as weber cementing his
place in the team, preperation has been going well and we have made the most of
the little time we had left and used it to full affect. Today I arrived safely
into paris where i met up with the guys and we travelled to our hotel ETAP, the
trip took around 30 minutes from the airport and the place is nice, after we
had checked in we then grabbed a burger (not the salad paddy would of wanted)
and then we came back and have just been relaxing watching source tv and jersey
shore. tomorrow we shall start our first day of bootcamp and again I cant wait.
I think if we utilise the days we have left before the tournament and play as i
know we can we can definately make our mark on this tournament. As the next
couple of days progress I will try and keep you guys up to date , with blogs
and video logs and some short interviews from the guys. But for now I am going
to go and catch some sleep as we will wake up tomorrow at around 8:30 am and
travel to oligan shop before beggining our map rotation vs check-six.
