ESL announced 4. season of IEM

Yesterday evening the ESL announced the fourth season of the Intel Extreme Masters and will start the event with a SuperCup at the Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. Next to World of Warcraft and Counterstrike, they announced a new discipline: Quake Live.

The Gamescon will be held at the Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, from 19. - 23. of August. A part of this event will be the first Global Challenge of the fourth season of the Intel Extreme Masters. Next to the popular disciplines of the former season, Quake Live is a new addition. Of course Counter-Strike will be an important part and with a so called SuperCup the fourth season will be opened. Our danish guys are invited to that SuperCup and will participate to show that they are back on top. Their opponents are the topteams fnatic and SK Gaming from Sweden as well as mousesports from Germany. Detailed information about the tournament aren't available yet but will be announced soon.
