Some hardware

At first our team got a default win in the first round because the opponent didn't show up. So the first game our team had to play was the Upperbracket semifinal. The opponent there was DSRack but our team performed very good and they won the match with 16:4 on de_nuke. Our player Danny "zonic" Sørensen sent us a tweet via twitter:

"currently at SLAP, just played DSRACK! :) nice T side on nuke... playing Ravens now who just won against SoA, looking forward to it :) "

Just right after that message they had to play the next match on de_train versus Roskilde Ravens. We all expected a thrilling game but our danish squad had a problem with that and played their best Counterstrike. With a clear 16:2 win they were able to destroy the birds and now they have to play the Overallfinal versus a very known opponent: Spirit of Amiga, archenemy of our team by fighting for the danish crown.

They had a perfect start too. In the first round they were able to fight down Team HKLAN with 16:4. In the semifinal of the upperbracket they had to play versus Roskilde Ravens but they weren't able to win and lost with 8:16 on de_nuke. But still it's a strong team and so they managed their way through the lowerbracket. At first a 16:9 win versus dakarma, and after that a 16:11 thrilling game versus DSRack on de_train. Then they had the chance for a revenge versus Roskilde Ravens and they took the chance! After 30 rounds the score was 15:15 and so they had to play one overtime and that was enough for SoA. With 19:15 they reached the Overallfinal where they had to play versus our boys.

But that wasn't so easy because due to the fact that they came from Lowerbracket they had to win two maps to win the tournament. Our team around Danny "zonic" Sørensen were able to win the first map de_inferno in a very exciting match with 16:13 and now they can call themselfes the winner of the Komplett Gamer Challenge 2009!
