Only a few people in the scene would have guessed Steffen 'sraven' Wiegner as the new guy in the team, but we really looked into it. For the team Steffen is not a nobody, as a good friend of Philipp 'osirisbash' Kaczmarczyk they've known each other for a longer time. It was clear for the management of the source team that we can get a talented young player who has much room to grow while playing with our veterans.

We grabbed Steffen to ask him a few questions:

mymTw: Hello Steffen, fist of all welcome to mTw! How does it feel to get the chance to play with such a top team?

Steffen 'sraven' Wiegner: Hello, I'm just very happy. Many players can only dream about such a chance and I will do everythng to perform well. Another thing i'm really happy about is the trust the management of mTw and the players have in me.

mymTw: What are your personal expectations for the upcoming EPS season, what do you want to achieve, where do you want to get better?

'sraven': My personal expectation is, that I will learn a lot from the other guys and to improve my game. The goal of the team is to reach the finals as a minimum and that is my goal as well.

mymTw: You're a rookie coming into his first season, what do you expect from the other teams, do you think it will be a lot harder than it was in the EAS?

'sraven': It's going to be a big difference between EAS and EPS, the teams on the top are a lot better. This season I will play against a lot good teams which have played a long time in the EPS. But I think my team and I will do well and we are strong enough to beat some teams!

mymTw: When can we expect to see you the first time in your mTw jersey live on stage?

'sraven': The exact schedule of the ESL is not online yet, so there's not much to say about that. We want to make a bootcamp in the following next weeks, but other LAN events are not planned yet.

mymTw: As a role model in your real life you choose  "His Airness" . Which moves and playes have fascinated you the most out of Michael Jordans game?

'sraven': I think he had a lot self confidence and did his thing under the hoop. He made some buckets and dunks which at that time nobody would have done and some maybe even believed impossible or too risky. This sounds very egoistic but with MJ that was not the case, he was an awesome teamplayer as well.

'sraven': Of course I want to greed everybode who will cheer for me and mTw in the next season. But I want to thank the management and the players of mTw again for giving me this huge chance!
