hope mtw will come back for me you are the best team in the world <3 i can imagine cs 1.6 without mTw
The situation of our Danes
zonic blogs about mTw.int
My name is Danny “zonic”
Sørensen. I’ve been playing under the wings of Lars Eiben, CEO of mTw
for almost five years now. I remember when guddo came to us back in 2006
and told us he had found some German guys who wanted to buy NoA but
keep us as their CS 1.6 team.

First I thought it might was a scam, because we were told we were going to get salary, and we weren't the best CS team out there, so why would they buy us?
We really got our salary, mTw/NoA itself was great with a good organization and a lot of great people which meant things were going to be very serious from now on. We started winning bigger events and things just went our way. whiMp joined us instead of hpx, and we played some bad events before finally winning our first major event, Kode5.
The same thing didn’t quite happen with trace and minet. Things went better than expected. Bronze at WCG to our first event, was a better start than with whiMp. My expectations for the team grew obviously.
2010:
Things didn’t go our way in the New Year, and we lost some important events/matches. Some of them wasn’t quite our fault (EM, minet <3) But the most of them we sat back with a feeling that we threw away the match.
It is therefore sad to admit this, but yes… we are in a crisis. Do we know what the problem is? No... Do we want to change a player because of it? We might if we felt a player was seriously underperforming. But it is not mTw-style just to look after a quick solution.
A motto we had with the old team was: “Team wins, Team loses!” – I want to keep that motto with this team; I can’t see any solution in changing a player, so that is very unlikely to happen. We will make some changes within the team. Try out new positions on different bomb spots, new tactics, playing more individually etc. Try to force calmness and some confidence into the team.
We are hurt, but the day I don’t believe in this team going all the way, mTw will be the first one to know. And we are just happy and thankful that the organization still believes in us, because we are not finished yet.
We will bootcamp before our first major event ESWC, and since we won last time in Paris, we have something to defend. I wrote this blog, because I felt it was the time to come out to all of you who supports us. Problems are here to be solved, and that is what we are going to do!
Cheers
