mTw.int that is Oliver Ari 'Minet' Minet, Martin 'trace' Bang Heldt, Timm 'ArcadioN' Henriksen, Danny 'zonic' Sørensen and Alexander 'ave' Holdt who defended their itle as scandinavian champions in Counter-Strike 1.6 at this year DreamHack Winter 2010 from 24'th till the 27'th of November successfully. They beat the norwegian Lions eSportKlubb after a close 16:14 in the second round of a best-of-three.

In the first set which was played on de_tuscan mTw.int won clearly after a 16:4. Our guys took the lead as terrorists with a 13:2 in the first half. So they just needed to win the last three rounds as counter-terrorists.
The second map was named de_train. On that map the game has been very even and the lions took the lead in the first half with 7:8. But after switching teams, mTw won with 9:6 and reached the goal and won 2:0 in straight sets and claimed the throne in Counter-Strike 1.6. Congratulations!




Nevertheless, that the finals of the 16. EPS Nordic was hold at the DreamHack Winter 2010 the CS tournament was still in the run. In this tournament mTw had to face the Lions eSportKlubb, too. Our champs won that match straight 2:0 again and the played maps were de_inferno and de_nuke. So mTw was qualified for the Counter-Strike 1.6 Tournament of DreamHack Winter 2010. In that final mTw had to face the big Natus Vincere from Ukraine. The first half was favorable for Na'vi and they took the lead on de_inferno with a 6:9. They won de_inferno after a devastating 0:7. The second map was named de_train was a little bit more stable from the perspective of mTw.int. But Na'vi won de_train, too. With a 11:16 they crowned them self as this year champions in Counter-Strike 1.6 at the DreamHack Winter 2010.

But overall our international Counter-Strike 1.6 team did a great job. First place at the EPS Nordic and second place at the DreamHack Winter 2010 rewards an awesome performance and also led to a total prize money of over 3.000€
