Meanwhile, let's zoom on some details:

With a third place finish in IEM5 European Championship Finals, and with nice results showed on this event, Frag eXecutors do have some solid proof of them being in good shape.
The one and only
This phrase previously belonged to Emil "HeatoN" Christensen, but it seems like it has transferred to the Frag eXecutors star Filip "Neo" Kubski. Kubski is a star and has proven it time and again, that he’s one of the best players in the world. By looking at how Kubski played in Kiev, many might be wondering why the team did not win the event. Something must have snapped or crumbled for the team in the later stages of the tournament.
Key to success
It seems like Neo has all the answers and he will unquestionably also be a reason to success for Frag eXecutors. History also speaks for itself, the team most of the time reach the podium and eventually in the final, so raw numbers are speaking on their behalf.
Exit scenario
The team could mentaly struggle against Na´Vi who they had some trouble against in the past. Also, the old team tactics could lead hem to an insuccess, as they are well known by all teams. If Filip "Neo" Kubski can't find a new way for making the strats from zero, Frag eXecutors can have serious problems against Na'Vi.

The team that came as total strangers in early 2010 and later dominated everyone and won all the major events in 2010. You have to give it to them, they did a magnificent job through 2010, and proved that if you have the will to win, you will win. Via the Kazakh Murat "Arbalet" Zhumashevich, the Ukrainian team had all the necessary funds to get to the top of the Counter-Strike scene.

Na´Vi did fall through in some tournaments in 2010, but this most of the times meant that they would go on to win the next event they attended. In the Summer, after winning ESWC and Arbalet Cup Dallas, Na´Vi placed third three times in a row (GameGune, IEM5 Shanghai and ASUS Summer), the next event they managed to win, and what an important event it was, winning WCG in front of mTw. Then at WEM they placed fourth, but then came back with full throttle at DreamHack Winter and won the event, once again, in front of mTw.
The best player of 2010
No introduction is needed for one of - if not the best - player in the Ukrainian team. Yegor "markeloff" Markelov was outstanding in 2010, and basically came from nowhere. Markelov was the most consistent player throughout the year, and his statistics are speaking for themselves, alongside with the many tournaments he won with his team, adding the official as well as unofficial awards he received in 2010.
Back where it all started
Na´Vi are back where it all started in 2010. IEM4 World Championship was where it all started in terms of claiming world domination. Last year we saw Markelov playing amazingly with his AWP, while Sukharev was the king of pistol-rounds. They are back in the exact same hall where they became IEM World Champions and everyone will have an eye on them, for good reasons.
Key to success
Na´Vi recently placed fourth at the IEM European Championship Finals, and according to what we just told you, they will be back in shape and eventually win the event – who knows? A composition of players like Na´Vi has to be a plus. An in-game leader which brought the team to all the big titles in 2010, the best AWP of 2010, and an insane duo in Sergey "starix" Ischuk and Ioann "Edward" Sukharev, what more is there to say.
Exit scenario
If Na´Vi can have a bad day, then a bad day could be what it finally should come down to stop them from wining the big trophy again. Also, if Frag eXecutors can find a way to stop Yegor "markeloff" Markelov AWP skills, the things can go wrong for Na'Vi.

As we allready know since the playoffs started, the winner will be decided once again based on BO3 rule (best of three). So far, the playoffs table looks like this:
Before the grand final, mTw will face SK Gaming in the looser brackets at 12:35 CET. Despite of the loss suffered yesterday by our team against Na'Vi, we still expect that Dany 'zonic' Sørensen and co. will bring home the bronze medals. Both teams have an excelent gameplay and good tactics, so we will sure see an interesting match. As a reminder, both sides will have the following line-ups:

Finally, we come to an end, and this is what we saw today:

mTw managed to claim the bronze medal at the IEM5 World Championship with a 2-1 victory over SK Gaming after a dramatic third map.

mTw started as counter-terrorists on de_inferno and managed to reach an early 3-1 lead over SK Gaming, but the opponents responded back and won four rounds in a row. Our team still tried to regain the lead but some good coordination in offensive duties from SK Gaming helped them to claim a nice 10-5 lead at half time.
In the second half, things went quite bad for our team as SK Gaming showed up an agressive strategy as counter-terrorists which helped them to take control over the game. mTw had no chance to react as they found themselves cornered. The success was iminent for SK Gaming who only conceded one round as tounter-terrorists to win the map with the final score of 16-6.

The second map started with SK Gaming on the offensive side. The Swedish team opted for a slow strategy in the pistol round, putting four players in the middle, while GeT_RiGhT was deployed outside, but it didn't worked as they were expecting and mTw managed to take the lead until next round, when SK Gaming responded back by taking control of the map after a good desert eagle work by face. In the next rounds, teams were head to head as neither of them could not prove who was superior. In the later stages, mTw pushed the pedal and after some nice team work they managed to take a nice 9-6 lead at half time.
In the second half mTw had a great start as terrorists and they managed to win the pistol round after Martin "trace" Heldt went for a desert eagle and after taking f0rest’s head off with a single shot, Oliver "minet" Minet picked up the deagle and took down three other SK Gaming players to win the round for our team. The next three rounds were also claimed by mTw and, despite SK Gaming efforts to come back on board, our team finally managed to win the map with a nice score of 16-8.

On the third and final map, mTw choosed to start on the stronger counter-terrorists side, but it had no efect since SK Gaming claimed up a convincing 5-0 lead followed by a very confusing pistol round. In the sixth round, mTw were back on board after they finally managed to score, but SK Gaming responded back and went to a nice 9-1 lead after a great AWP play by RobbaN. In the last rounds, mTw finally got their game going and reduced the deficit to three rounds.
As the second half started, mTw showed up great skills and managed to win the pistol round when it seemed that there was nothing they could do, but Martin "trace" Heldt took care of the situation and won a 1on2 situation with just 11 hp. After wining the next two rounds, mTw equalized and pushed the pedal harder, as they wanted more, and forced SK Gaming to call a timeout after being down 12-9. This prooved to be a nice decision, as SK Gaming started to play more confident and managed to score. Shortly after this, mTw called a timeout too for rethinking the strats, and agai, it prooved to be a good decision as they managed to get three match points , However, they could not capitalize on their last match point and SK Gaming forced the game in overtimes.
In overtimes, SK Gaming, who started on the counter-terrorists side, went for a 4-1 lead. In the second half, mTw won the initial round, but then we saw SK Gaming bounce back to get three match points. However, our team kept their cool and pulled off a comeback to level the match on 20 rounds. The second overtime was much faster, as SK Gaming showed up an agressive play as terrorists which was eficient until a certain point, as they only managed to pick up two rounds. Our team were now in the lead just by a single round, but they showed up a stronger terrorists side and managed to take three more rounds to win the map with a total score of 26-24.

This is the second year in a row that Na'Vi has won the Intel Extreme Masters World Final, and marks the occasion where their glorious 2010 run begun twelve months ago.

On the first map of the final, Frag eXecutors started as counter-terrorists and managed to win the pistol round and the following save rounds. Na'Vi responded back and claimed the first gun round in their favour, but they managed to loose the second one after a great gameplay showed by Frag eXecutors. After eleven rounds, Frag eXecutors claimed the lead with the score of 8-3 as Na'Vi were forced pushed back from their boost. After a nice gameplay by Filip “Neo” Kubski and Jakub “Kuben” Gurczynski, Frag eXecutors finished the half with a big 11-4 lead.
In the second half, Na'Vi were more confident and won the pistol round, followed by next three rounds. Like in the first half, Frag eXecutors would manage to pick up a key round, but that was all, since Na'Vi went to a massive wining streak and picked up the next seven rounds with a good team work. For the final of the first map. Na'Vi pushed back all Frag eXecutors efforts and claimed the victory with a nice 16-12 score.

Na'Vi had a great start on the second map, as they managed to win the pistol round thanks to an impressive 1v2 by Sergey “starix” Ischuk. In the following rounds, both teams struggled to find rhythm and exchanged rounds until Frag eXecutors were able to pull ahead and take a commanding 9-3 lead. Finally, Na'Vi were able to come back on board and finished the half 9-6.
In the second half, Na'Vi somehow rised up and won the pistol round and the following save rounds, so they level up the match at 9-9. Frag eXecutors were not able to win the first gun round, so Na'Vi took the lead once again. Next rounds were like on first half, all one-sided, as starix showed up a great playing style and helped Na'Vi to win the following four rounds. Despite all Frag eXecutors efforts, Na'Vi managed to take the needed rounds and won the match with the score of 16-10. Result: Na'Vi champions!
