13% deduction for Na'Vi and 3% for mTw

Prize deductions for IEM5

This decision comes after Na´Vi broke the tournament's rules twice in the semi-final clash with mTw, as they were first to leave the stage without permission at halftime of the second map and the second for calling a timeout to go to the toilet. For the first infringement, Na´Vi have received three minor penalty points, which will deduct 3 percent off their prize, while for the second infraction, they have been given one major penalty point, which sees 10 percent of their earnings being redistributed by the ESL.

This means that, after Na'Vi won the final match against Frag eXecutors and earned $35,000, they will get a $4,550 cut off from their prize. Na´Vi manager Aleksander "ZeroGravity" Kokhanovsky expressed his surprise at the decision, saying: "I think it's unfair because we were drinking water and Red bull during the games, so there is the possibility that one has to go to the toilet.". Kokhanovsky added that, after calling a timeout, a team is given three to five minutes, and that it should make no difference if they go somewhere or just stay chatting during that time.

Our lovely team seems to be in the same situation after they won the match against SK Gaming and took the third place and $8,500 prize money. 3 percent will be deducted off their prize money because of leaving the stage at the interval of the second map. Also, ESL announced that all the money that is deducted off teams will be redistributed among the remaining participants.

Sitmmt nicht, da das Geld zwischen den anderen teams verteilt wird.. Das Geld landet also nicht bei der ESL :-) Sie wollen wohl einfach dass wir lernen uns total an den regeln zu halten..
