de_nuke: Upper-site Rush

Gaming Advanced vol. 2

Hey Ho! Disco....

It seems so boring writing "Hello guys!" everytime, so I thought about doing something different... HeHeHe.

Anyways, This week I will take you through a tactic we used in mTw back in 2008/2009 and we had a lot of success with it. But you guys know what happends when you make a tactic, and people starts either using it or anti-strat it.

It is a Upper-Site rush where you have 1-2 guys outside (in yard) and one of them will have an important role in this tactic.

The Point:

It is plain simple. You want to attack Upper-Site, and you want your opponents just to get settled in B1 before meeting some annoying flashes.

Especially one flash will start the whole attack, and if you are into making the tactic a bit more detailed, you can throw one in the end as well.

Note: This is a spawn tactic!

Player 1 is the first spawner, and the key person in this tactic. He will rush yard and he is the one throwing the flashbang. He will rush yard, and smoke right outside main and then go to a spot we call "newbiespot"

I will show you newbiespot in the 3rd picture.

This is where the first guy smokes when he rushes yard. And next picture will show you why.

In order to end up in newbiespot without getting shot, you need to minimize any threat.

And now we come to the flashbang which will insta-flash tons of areas inside B1.

It will flash these areas:

These areas a common spots to sit in as CT in B1, especially after they have just settled in B1.

The first person is working his way out in yard, and opens up the attack with that flash.

Another guy can follow him in Yard and help him get to "newbiespot" by throwing smokes and flashes for him. Later on that guy can enter main when the attack is about to happen.

Lets take a look on what the guys inside lobby should do

The Attack:

Player 3, 4 and 5 will go to lobby and wait for the two guys in yard to get ready. They can distract their oppents inside B1 by opening the door and spray out towards main, throw some nades, flashes etc. just to keep they occupied.

Remember Player 4 needs to listen if they are about to push offensive ramp or anything like that.

Player 3  stands behind the door waiting for the "Go Go Go!" from Player 1. When the flash is thrown by Player 1 and explodes in b1, he will open the door with his body and start pumping flashes out b1.

Player 5 will stand in hut/yellow house and pump flashes out of hut when Player 1 give the Go!.

This is a good flash since it insta-flashes the one sitting flashes on bombsite, and if there is one catwalk spotting hut.

Like this:

Player 4 who was the guy listening for any threats, can walk into radioroom and wait for any opponents attempting to come from behind.

But he needs to feel the situation, since if they are having troubles inside B1, then he needs to help his teammates as soon as possible.

Summarize:

The good thing about this tactic is that you keep insta-flashing all kinds of spots in B1. If you get a lot of success with this tactic you can try making it with another twist.

For example when everybody has thrown their flashes, Player 1 can throw yet another one as the final flash before they enter b1. In that case you are absolutely positive you have done everything you can in order to flash the whole site.

Player 3 who is behind the door, should be the one saying "Go Go Go" to everyone when they are about to enter the site.

So Player 1 starts the attack, and Player 3 tells people to attack!
