mTw.CS with Changes

Changes are a normal development in a period of time. Well, there will be a change in our counter strike 1.6 team. A long era will end as of today, but we want to leave the player with a laughing and crying eye. But we have already found someone who maybe can replace our player.

To bring long-term partnerships, flair and a good team performance when it is needed. These properties characterize the management and the teams of mTw. But on this day we have to say goodbye to a player who has been with us now for 5 years and always kept the faith. Alexander 'ave' Holdt will leave us with the present day, as he will now devote more to his school career. We would like to thank Alexander and will bring in the next few hours some specials about Alexander and his career here with mTw.

The upcoming Intel Extreme Masters Qualifier already knocks on the door so we will welcome our new player. From now on Michael "Friis" Friis iis joining the team around Danny zonic 'Sørensen to successfully compete in the next few tournaments and qualifiers. We are pleased to welcome him with mTw! The 22-year-old from Denmark will strengthen our team now. He previously played under the flag of the Roskilde Ravens and finally, under the flag of TCM gaming. Now is a time for him to begin with mTw, hopefully that lasts as long as with ave.

Statement Alexander 'ave' Holdt

I'm retiring from CS. I've decided to retire mainly because I'd like to focus more on my school and my everyday life. The upcoming events this fall would make it really hard for me to do that. My desire to play the tournaments is still there, but the practice hours required is too much for me at this point. I've been really happy to have such a long streak with the team, and I'll always remember this part of my life as a really good one!

Statement Danny 'zonic' Sørensen

" Today I say goodbye to not just a really great player, but a dear dear friend who I have played with since 2006. I remember back in NoA where we needed a new tacleader, I saw ave playing with SoA. I have always admired ave for his skills and calmness as a leader and today I must say goodbye to one of the best personalities in the Counter Strike scene. Alex has decided to step down to focus more on his school, and we obviously respect his decision. Michael "Friis" Friis will be the new player in mTw, and I don't think it comes as a surprise since Friis has been doing extremely well with the AWP lately. Ever since Sunde retired, we have been in need of a great AWP, and I believe Friis is the right man for the job! I wish both of them great luck in the future, and you will get to see Michael in action already today in the IEM New York Qualifier #1! //
